  Rally for Children’s Rights - Lincoln Memorial In Washington
2014 Nobel Peace Prize winner, Kailash Satyarthi of India, will lead the Meet-Up for Childhood Freedom which will take place at the Lincoln Memorial.  The event will focus on ending child slavery and building momentum so that all children go to school.  The event will be next Tuesday, June 16 at 4 pm, with the program beginning at 4:45 pm.

PGCPS has just announced that the last day of the 2014-2015 school year, Wednesday, June 24, 2015, is now a half day for Unit 1 employees. Please make sure that all of your close out duties and responsibilities are complete before taking advantage of this schedule change.

  My Professional Performance System (MyPPS) Introduction Video

The Office of Employee Performance and Evaluation is pleased to announce the launch of MyPPS (My Professional Performance System), the new electronic platform for teachers and administrators to complete evaluation tasks.  This video provides a brief introduction on how to navigate MyPPS.

  Announcement from Staff Portal: To All Teachers Who Are Evaluated Using the FfT Model

Unify (Performance Matters) will not be used for the development of SLOs this school year.  All staff who are responsible for SLOs will enter their information in MyPPS (My Professional Performance System).  Attached is the guiding document with step-by-step directions in completing their SLOs in MyPPS (or refer to“SLO Walkthrough - Teachers” Guide in the Resources Tab in MyPPS).


  MSEA New Educators Conference: December 3rd

MSEA will hold our first-ever New Educators Conference. The day is planned to include presentations and small group discussions with guest facilitators on subjects critical and relevant to early career educators.

Pre-registration by November 18 @ 5pm is required. All attendees who register by November 1 will be entered in a special prize drawing from the Baltimore Orioles!
