Negotiators for the Prince George’s County Educators’ Association (PGCEA) and the Prince George’s County Board of Education (BOE) reached a tentative agreement on Thursday, June 21, 2007. After several days of meetings, climaxing with an extended session on Thursday, the teams were able to agree to reach a tentative agreement. At this point, only the PGCEA negotiating team has taken a position of support for the package.

The tentative agreement must now go before the PGCEA Board of Directors for a position and then on to the Representative Council prior to an all members vote.
