Labor Relations Team

The Employee and Labor Relations Team will assist the Chief of Human Resources and Director of Human Resources in resolving all employment concerns. The team will aid in all Negotiated Agreement interpretations and process grievances by employees from  bargaining units PGCEA and ASASP. The office will also handle and resolve ADA issues, EEOC cases, work with the Benefits Administration Team on Workers’ Compensation issues, help principals with evaluation concerns, and process end-of-year employment actions resulting from employee evaluations.

This team also serves as the following:

• Outstanding Support Employee Award Committee chair;
• Joint Sick Leave Bank Rules Committee member;
• Critical Claims Committee member;
• Joint Health Insurance Consortium member; and
• Representative to the Maryland Negotiations Service.
