Community Speakers

PGCEA has as one of its primary goals to address issues that impact the teaching and learning process, gather information and develop strategies to promote quality education.

Research indicates that an important factor in a school’s success is its support from the community as well as from within the home.

PGCEA is pleased to open this avenue of communication by providing an association member and/or professional staff person to speak with a particular organization on any one of the following topics:

  • Zero Tolerance

  • Innovations in Education

  • Schools Today: What Happened

  • Community Involvement in Education

  • The Politics of Education

If there is a topic that you would like to discuss, please inform us when you call and we will attempt to accommodate your request. Other parent, teacher, and community activities are planned. Watch for details in future updates and issues of Our Community Schools
