These By-laws are set forth in compliance with the requirements of the Corporation and Association Article of the Maryland Code, the Maryland State Education Association, and the National Education Association By-laws.

These By-laws shall become effective on the first day of the month next succeeding their approval by the affirmative vote of regular members representing two-thirds (2/3) of those voting.
